Solución:

1) If the climbing equipment were more advanced, we would reach the summit faster.
     Si el equipo de escalada fuera más avanzado, llegaríamos a la cumbre más rápido.

2) If the glacier were closer to the camp, we would explore it more often.
     Si el glaciar estuviera más cerca del campamento, lo exploraríamos más a menudo.

3) If the rock were stable, we would use it as a base for climbing.
     Si la roca fuera estable, la usaríamos como base para escalar.

4) If the peak were visible from the camp, we would plan our route more easily.
     Si la cima fuera visible desde el campamento, planificaríamos nuestra ruta más fácilmente.

5) If the crevice were wider, we would use it as a shortcut to the glacier.
     Si la grieta fuera más ancha, la usaríamos como atajo hacia el glaciar.
